We are seeking qualified and reliable Electricians to join construction and maintenance companies in Malta under the work permit and visa sponsorship program. The successful candidates will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair wiring, lighting, and electrical control systems.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams.
Troubleshoot electrical faults and carry out corrective repairs.
Test electrical systems and components for safety, functionality, and compliance.
Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards or defects.
Ensure all work complies with Maltese electrical codes and safety standards.
Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and construction teams.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
General Requirements:
Age: 21 – 50 years (preferred range, may vary by employer).
Minimum education: Technical/vocational training in electrical installation or equivalent.(Education Certificates of electricity related courses)
At least 2–3 years of proven experience as an electrician (construction, industrial, or residential). Preferably a detailed CV
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
Knowledge of safety procedures and Maltese/European electrical standards (training may be given).
Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.
Good English communication skills (since English is an official language in Malta).
Visa Sponsorship Requirements (After successful application):
Valid passport.
Proof of qualifications and/or trade certificates.
Police clearance certificate (no criminal record).
Medical examination (general health and sometimes TB test).
Visa sponsorship and relocation support.
Salary range: (approx. €1,800 – €3,200/month, depending on experience).
Overtime and allowances for night shifts/weekend work.
Paid annual leave and sick leave (as per Maltese labor law).
Social security and health insurance coverage.
Accommodation support may be provided or arranged by employer.
Possibility of contract renewal and long-term settlement in Malta.
