Job Description

We are seeking experienced and reliable Truck Drivers (HGV/LGV Drivers) to join logistics and transport companies in the United Kingdom under the Skilled Worker visa sponsorship program. The successful candidates will be responsible for safely transporting goods across local and regional routes while ensuring compliance with UK traffic and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate heavy goods vehicles (HGV Class 1 or Class 2) to transport goods safely.

Load, secure, and unload cargo following company and safety standards.

Plan delivery routes and meet scheduled delivery deadlines.

Complete delivery logs, vehicle inspection reports, and related paperwork.

Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks.

Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicle.

Follow UK road laws, health & safety standards, and company procedures.

Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse staff.


Requirements

General Requirements:

Age: 25 – 55 years (preferred range, may vary by employer).

Valid heavy vehicle driver’s license from home country.

Minimum 2 years’ experience driving heavy trucks or trailers.

Good knowledge of road safety and traffic rules.

Physically fit for long hours of driving and occasional manual loading/unloading.

Basic English communication skills (reading road signs, paperwork, and instructions).

No major traffic offenses or criminal background.


UK Visa Sponsorship Requirements ( HGV Driver):
Valid passport.

Proof of English language ability (IELTS UKVI test or equivalent).

Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) from a licensed UK employer.

UK-equivalent driving qualifications (must convert foreign license to UK HGV license).

Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) – some employers may sponsor training.

Proof of funds (unless employer certifies maintenance).

Police clearance certificate.

Medical check (including TB test )
