Job Description

We take pride in being highly specialized in the ECE (Early Childhood Education) field, working closely with numerous daycare centers and educational institutions to connect qualified professionals with the right employers.Currently, a large corporation is seeking to fill more than 50 positions throughout the province of BC and IEK has been retained by the Employer to provide all legal representation in filling the relevant positions for the chosen candidates.Our focus is primarily on ECE and IT positions, and we are committed to connecting employers and candidates through safe and authorized processes

Your responsibilities will be:
Assess children's development and support individualized learning plans
Plan and implement programs that foster physical, emotional, cognitive, and social growth
Lead activities including storytelling, crafts, music, and outings
Support daily routines such as meals, rest, hygiene, and diapering
Observe and report on children’s behavior and development
Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment
Communicate with parents regarding progress and concerns
Supervise and mentor assistants, trainees, and volunteers
Assist with housekeeping, snack preparation, and record-keeping
Ensure compliance with childcare regulations and health standards
Collaborate with staff and community partners to support children
Participate in staff meetings and contribute to program planning


Requirements

A bachelor’s degree or college diploma
At least 1 year of related Experience is required
Criminal record check (required)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Valid First Aid certification


Benefits

Permanent Pay: $27.25-$31.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
