A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established, independent practice operating across three sites, including a newly opened cat-only clinic at the main location. The practice has delivered high-quality veterinary care since 1986, with strong in-house capabilities to minimise external referrals and a supportive, dynamic environment. The team comprises 36 staff, including 16 nurses, with efficient management at each site to support collaboration and professional development.Responsibilities
Provide medical and surgical veterinary care across three sites, with a focus on maintaining high standards of patient care.
Enjoy clinical autonomy and the opportunity to lead in the absence of other vets, while collaborating with a knowledgeable team.
Contribute to mentorship and ongoing professional development within a teaching-practice environment, with an emphasis on CPD and advanced qualifications.
Support client relationships and contribute to a positive, team-oriented workplace culture.
Shape your role around your clinical interests, whether in medicine or surgery.


Requirements

Several years of hands-on veterinary experience with confidence managing both medical and surgical cases.
Strong communication and organisational skills; ability to mentor others is valued.
Additional certifications are welcomed but not essential; the practice supports further training and development.


Benefits

4 day working week — 9:00 to 18:30.
1 in 4 Saturday mornings (9:00 – 12:00).
Additional 1 in 4 rota for hospitalised patient care.
No out-of-hours requirement.
Salary package:

£45,000 – £70,000 DOE, with annual salary review.
