We are seeking a knowledgeable Technical Officer to oversee technical operations, support production processes, and ensure quality and compliance in manufacturing environments. The role involves working closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to maintain efficient and safe manufacturing practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Support production processes by providing technical expertise and troubleshooting
Monitor and optimize manufacturing workflows and equipment performance
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Assist in implementing process improvements and quality control measures
Maintain accurate technical documentation and reports
Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve technical issues
Conduct training and support for production staff on technical procedures
Participate in audits, inspections, and safety reviews
Education & Experience:
Diploma, HND, or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related field
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial technical role (typically 2+ years)
Skills:
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and machinery
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues in production environments
Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and safety standards
Proficient in technical documentation and data analysis
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to train and guide production staff

Salary range: £25,000 – £40,000+ per year depending on experience and location
