We are looking for experienced and skilled Mechanics to inspect, repair, and maintain vehicles and machinery. The role involves diagnosing faults, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring vehicles meet safety and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in vehicles or machinery
Repair or replace defective parts, including engines, brakes, and suspension systems
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake adjustments
Conduct road tests to ensure repairs are effective and vehicles operate safely
Maintain accurate records of repairs and services
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
Communicate with customers or supervisors regarding repairs and costs
Education & Experience:
Relevant vocational qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent)
Previous experience as a mechanic or vehicle technician (typically 2+ years)
Skills:
Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
Ability to work with hand and power tools
Familiarity with automotive software and diagnostic tools
Good problem-solving and manual dexterity
Attention to detail and commitment to quality work
Good communication skills

Salary range: £22,000 – £35,000+ per year depending on experience and location
