United Kingdom (London, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, and regional construction areas)
We are seeking experienced and skilled Masons/Bricklayers to join construction and infrastructure projects across the UK. The role involves laying bricks, stones, or concrete blocks to construct or repair walls, foundations, arches, and other structures in residential, commercial, or public works.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
Lay bricks, concrete blocks, or natural stones with accuracy
Mix and apply mortar or grout
Align structures using levels, plumb lines, and string lines
Cut and shape bricks or stone to fit spaces
Repair or replace damaged brickwork or stonework
Follow safety protocols and wear proper PPE
Work collaboratively with other trades on-site
Maintain clean and safe work environments
Education & Experience:
Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Mason, Bricklayer, or Stonemason
Vocational training or certification in masonry (preferred but not mandatory)
Familiarity with UK building methods is an advantage
Skills:
Ability to read construction drawings and plans
Proficiency in using masonry tools and materials
Good physical stamina and manual dexterity
Awareness of workplace safety procedures
Teamwork and communication skills
Other Requirements:
Must meet Skilled Worker visa eligibility (UKVI requirements)
English language proficiency (minimum IELTS 4.0 in all components or UK NARIC recognized equivalent)
Clean background and police clearance
Valid passport
Willingness to undergo a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) training/test (may be required upon arrival or sponsored by the employer)
