Job Description

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide personal, physical, and emotional support to elderly or disabled clients in residential aged care homes, private homes, or community settings across Australia. The ideal candidate will demonstrate empathy, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

Provide mobility support and transfers using appropriate manual handling techniques

Support with daily activities such as meal preparation, feeding, cleaning, and shopping

Offer emotional support and companionship

Monitor client health, report concerns to medical or supervisory staff

Adhere to health and safety regulations and infection control standards

Maintain accurate client records and documentation

Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals


Requirements

Education & Experience:

Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability Support, or equivalent
(International qualifications may be accepted with RPL or bridging)

Minimum 1–2 years experience in caregiving , nursing, or support work

Experience with dementia or palliative care is a plus

Skills:

Genuine passion for caring for the elderly or disabled

Good English communication skills (verbal and written)

Strong interpersonal and time management skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physically fit to perform manual handling and client support

Other Requirements:

Valid First Aid and CPR certification

Police Clearance Certificate

Proof of COVID-19 vaccinations (as per employer or state requirements)

Valid passport
